David
You are correct in your assessment that my concerns relate to Child Protection. There are many more facets to this case: Education, Family Law, Letting of contracts, Policing, Scrutiny and Standards.
You make the point that it is not in your remit to share in these concerns: Please take the time to read your website. This will explain what your duties are.
As I explained at our meeting in Brecon, knowing what was really happening, made events more endurable and enabled me to concentrate on my duties as a parent.
This philosophy had to change when my son was targeted by some of your colleagues.
Powys County Council have had an unusual approach to their responsibilities for a number of years.
Unfortunately, you are still employing unsuitable teaching staff. This is unlawful and represents a hazard to the children of Powys.
Even you David, must be appalled at the response to the following FOI request: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/
The approach by Dyfed Powys Police to abuse in schools runs contrary to the rules issued by JCQ.
http://www.jcq.org.uk/
Although updated from the version extant in 2007, this version still contains the requirement for the Head of Centre to involve the police when malpractice is suspected.
This case is one I have followed for a number of years: http://www.bailii.org/ew/
There is a common factor between this and that of the Giles.rtf attachment.

Dear Julie
I have secured the completed scripts from Builth Wells High School (see attachments)
I would suggest Jeremy takes immediate steps to impose an extension of time on the holding of same. (4 days to go)
Alternatively, he can sanction the invoice Janet Kealey has been sitting on for over three years; then I will do it.
If he chooses to do so, the account reference is: :Nationwide S/C 07-01-16 08461221
It must be done today.
Regards
R D Nicholson

My understanding is that you do not have the figures that I requested from you.
I reiterate my belief that the children of Wales remain vulnerable.
